Who are we?

Hey there 👋 we’re Mark Barbir, Sanden Gocka, and a small, passionate team of product people who’ve spent years in the trenches—shipping software, leading teams, and living through the chaos (and joy) of building real products. We know firsthand how hard it is to stay focused, cut through noise, and actually move the needle. We’ve been through the highs and lows: from scrappy startups to public companies, from product-market fit to layoffs, and everything in between. We’re here because we care deeply about the craft of product management and the people who do it.

Why are we here?

Earmark exists because we needed it. We built this for ourselves, and for every product manager who’s ever felt overwhelmed, under-supported, or buried under meetings and context-switching. We know what it’s like to be the connective tissue in an organization—expected to have all the answers, keep everyone aligned, and still find time to think deeply. Earmark is our answer: an AI-native copilot that helps you capture, organize, and act on what matters most, in real time. It’s about making your day less reactive and more intentional.

  • Respect for the craft. Product management is hard, and often underappreciated. We want to elevate the role, not replace it. Earmark is here to amplify your impact, not automate you away.

  • Staying small and nimble. We’re intentionally keeping our team tight—no layers of management, no unnecessary drama. Just a handful of people who love what they do, working directly with customers and each other.

Our mission is to help product managers feel less overwhelmed and more in control—not just in meetings, but across the entire flow of work. We want to give you back time, clarity, and confidence, so you can focus on what really matters: building great products and enjoying the ride.
